Many people I work with describe their previous experiences with therapy as “shallow” or “surface level.” My take is that we’ve got to dig deep to create real change. Life is short, and you’ve got a life to live—so let’s get to it.
My thinking is deeply informed by relational psychoanalysis and the Engaged Buddhism of Thich Nhat Hanh. As a musician, I enjoy working with people in performance-driven fields, like actors, artists, and athletes. I have special interests in struggles related to incarceration, existentialism, masculinity, anger, and queer identity.

Feeling stuck or frustrated? Experiencing difficulties in relationships? Going through a significant life transition like changing your job, welcoming a new baby, or starting graduate school? Therapy can be an enormous support during these times. Together we can uncover the beliefs that drive or limit you.
My primary frameworks are relational, humanistic, and psychoanalytic. Many of the people I work with are struggling in their relationships, processing traumatic events, or going through a life transition. As your therapist, I practice curiosity and compassion while striving to support you through the challenges of being a person in today's society.
